Guest Performer

The following took place at an Enchanted Evening of Jazz by the Richard Sherman Trio:

 

March 11, 2011 was a special day indeed. Special enough for a press release.  The following video includes an introduction of Guest Performer, Rick DellaRatta, Founder, Jazz For Peace, who plays 3 songs, the last one being "Waters of March" by Antonio Carlos Jobim, after recently playing the song at a concert in Kenya Africa on 02/19/2011.

Rick DellaRatta, Founder, Jazz For Peace Foundation, after performing a fundraising concert in Pasadena, California the night before for an outstanding children's cause,  accompanied Burton Danet, Co-Founder, ABC4All to the Enchanted Evening of Jazz with the Richard Sherman Trio from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

 

There was opportunity for Rick DellaRatta and Richard Sherman to meet ABC4All Partner, Alma Martinez, Founder, Amigos Sin Barreras / Friends Without Barriers and others in her group.

 

At 7:30 p.m. the Richard Sherman Trio performed a series of jazz sets. Richard Sherman kindly extended the invitation to Rick to perform solo during the in-between times of the Trio's sets!
